  Whilst it's my local shop, Sainsbury's is also my last choice for a food shop. I'd rather travel 20 miles to Tesco's in Newbury and back than shop at Sainsburies just down the road. I shop at Tesco's weekly for my main shop, and use the small local Tesco's for emergencies - I only use Sainsburies in tadley once in a blue moon for emergencies I can't get in the local Tesco store, and haven't time to drive to Newbury. I'll give you one example, as we were talking to neibours about this - neither of us have ever managed to find red milk on the shelves in tadley Sainsburies. I can understand a one off but we prefer red milk, and it's always out of stock. I'd love to save time and money by shopping in a local store, but the tadley Sainsburies has a lot to do to compete with the Newbury, Basingstoke and Reading food shops.
